I’m Not a Robot (2017) [Robosi Aniya] is a South Korean television series directed by Jung Dae-yoon and written by Kim Sun-mi. It stars Yoo Seung-ho, Chae Soo-bin and Um Ki-joon. The series was produce by May Queen Pictures for MBC. It aired on MBC from December 6, 2017 to January 25, 2018.

Kim Min Gyu is a wealthy and successful company owner, but he lives an isolated life due to his allergy to people. He meets and falls in love with a girl who is pretending to be a robot for her ex-boyfriend, a genius robots professor.

I’m Not a Robot is a story about Kim Min-kyu (Yoo Seung-ho), an individual who lost his wealthy parents as a child and because of betrayal by those in his Father’s company, he chose to live on his own in his parents home. He is now running the company but trusts no one. He has also developed an deadly allergy to other humans due to to the trauma. When he comes into contact with another human being, he develops a deadly rash on his body and has difficulty breathing which would lead to death without treatment. Kim Min-kyu’s company buys and sells other companies. He buys a company that has secretly been working on AI development and they have created a almost human robot known as Aji 3 (Chae Soo-bin). The developers do not want the company to be sold, so they go to Kim Min-ky and make an agreement to allow him to work with the AI robot, training the robot. There is an accident with the robot and they are unable to deliver the actual robot, so they get the girl, Cho Ji-ah (Chae Soo-bin), whose looks were used in the development of the robot, to pretend she is the robot and she begins to work with Kim Min-kyu. The two begin to bond in unexpected ways as the “robot” begins to help Kim Min-kyu trust and love again.
