The Great Doctor (2012)

The Great Doctor (2012) [Sin-ui] is also known as Faith. It is a South Korean fantasy, history television drama starring Kim Hee Sun, Lee Min-ho, Ryu Deok Hwan, Park Se Young and Yoo Oh Sung. It aired on SBS from August 13, 2012 through October 30, 2012.

The Great Doctor is about a 21st-century plastic surgeon, Doctor Yoo Eun Soo (Kim Hee-sun), who is kidnapped for her healing abilities. She is forced to travel 700 years back in time to the Goryeo period (918) where she is expected to cure the fatally injured queen. Her kidnapper is a warrior, General Choi Yeong (Lee Min-ho) who is the leader of the royal guard and bodyguard to King Gong Min. He has promised to return her home to her modern life, but a scheming royal advisor has other plans for her and convinces the king to force her to stay. Eventually she falls in love with the kidnapper warrior, and he with her.
