He is Psychometric is about Lee Ahn (Park Jin-young) who, after losing his parents in a fire, acquires the power of psychometry, the ability to read a person or an object’s past through physical contact. He soon decides that he can use this power to bring bad people to justice. Before he understands how to control his power, he meets Yoon Jae-in (Shin Ye-eun) who has a very painful past which she attempts to hide form him. Together with his foster guardian, prosecutor Kang Sung-mo (Kim Kwon), and the latter’s colleague, investigator Eun Ji-soo (Kim Da-som), they team up to solve an elusive case that has been haunting the lives of Ahn, Sung-mo, and Jae-in. The case revolves around the life of prosecutor Kang and his mother and father, who were the main cause of fire. Through this process Jae-in and Lee Ahn begin to help one another heal from their past and they find the culprit they were searching for.
