In Marriage, Not Dating, wealthy plastic surgeon Gong Gi-tae (Yeon Woo-jin) has no interest in getting married, but marriage is all that shop girl Joo Jang-mi (Han Groo) dreams about. Gi-tae helps Jang-mi’s boyfriend to break up with her before she can propose marriage to him, but then he decides to use her to get his parents off his back. If he has a girlfriend it will help him end the constant string of blind dates and marriage prospects so Gi-tae purposely brings Jang-mi home to meet his parents posing as his girlfriend. He is certain that his parents will never approve of her. What ensues will surprise everyone and thwart all of Gi-tae’s plans.
