Moon River (2015) is a Taiwanese romantic comedy drama television series directed by Wu Jian Xin. It is based on Ming Xiao Xi’s first novel with the same name. It stars Pets Tseng, Sam Lin, Evan Ma, Xu Kai Cheng, Bernice Tsai, and Cao Xi Yue. The series aired on GTV from September 9, 2015 through October 29, 2015.
Ming Xiaoxi (Pets Tseng) is admitted to the elite Kuan Yu University because of her academic and martial arts achievements. She is a very good student and she has won numerous Kung Fu championship titles. However, she comes from a humble family background, and her unsophisticated demeanor and awkward appearance put her at direct odds with the polished, privileged students who attend the university. When Xiaoxi tries to help someone from her hometown who is in need, she becomes embroiled in the lives of the cold, but insanely popular and handsome, Mu Liubing (Sam Lin), Feng Jianche (Evan Ma) and Dong Haonan (Xu Kai Cheng), the big shots on campus.
