My Sassy Girl (2017) [Yeopgijeogin Geunyeo] is a South Korean romantic comedy television drama starring Joo Won, Oh Yeon-seo, Lee Jung-shin and Kim Yoon-hye, based on the 2001 South Korean movie My Sassy Girl by Kwak Jae-yong, set during the Joseon period. It aired on SBS from May 29, 2017 through July 18, 2017.

During the Joseon Dynasty Gyeon Woo (Joo Won), a reserved and refined scholar who had studied in the city and who is considered to be “Joseon’s national treasure”, rescues a drunk, sassy, and trouble making princess, Hye-myung (Oh Yeon-seo), who later accuses him of taking something precious from her.
