Rugal (2020- )

Rugal (2020- ) is a South Korean action, crime sci fi television series based on the webtoon of the same name. It is written by Do Hyun and directed by Kang Cheol Woo. It stars Choi Jin Hyuk, Park Sung Woong, Jo Dong Hyuk, Jung Hye In, Kim Min Sang, Park Sun Ho. It aired on OCN and Netflix from March 28, 2020 through May 17, 2020.

Rugal is the story of Kang Ki Beom, an elite police officer in a dystopian society who attempts to bring take down a nationwide criminal organization known as ARGOS. The organization ends up causing him to be framed for the murder of his wife and family, and they brutally cut out his eyes. After losing everything he holds dear, he gets payback when he joins the NIS on the team called Rugal, where he is given special abilities through biotechnological eyes.
