Something in the Rain (2018) (Korean: Bap Jal Sajuneun Yeppeun Nuna) is a South Korean television series directed by Ahn Pan-seok and starring Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae-in. The series marks Son Ye-jin’s small screen comeback after five years. It was broadcast on JTBC from March 30 to May 19, 2018. It streams on Netflix with subtitles.
Something in the Rain (2018) is about 30 something, Yoon Jin-Ah (Son Ye-Jin), a district supervisor at a major coffee/cafe franchise and Seo Joon-hee (Jung Hae-In), a mid-20’s animator for video games. When he returns from working abroad he reconnects with Jin-ah, who has been best friend’s with Joon-Hee’s sister since childhood. Falling is love has its normal challenges and on top of those, they struggle with their age difference (a taboo in most circles), which makes it difficult to go public with their relationship.
