Tunnel (2017)

Tunnel (2017) [Teoneol] is a South Korean television series starring Choi Jin-hyuk, Yoon Hyun-min and Lee Yoo-young. It replaced the series Voice and aired on cable network OCN from March 25, 2017 to May 21, 2017 for 16 episodes. The series was inspired by the Hwaseong serial murders. Tunnel (2017) was a big hit in China.

Tunnel (2017) begins in 1986, where violent crimes police detective Park Gwang-Ho (Choi Jin-Hyuk) is desperately trying to catch a dangerous serial killer. When his own daughter’s life in danger, he is determined to catch the insidious killer before it’s too late. Chasing the killer into a tunnel Detective Park Gwang-Ho soon finds himself in the year 2017, where the serial killer has resumed killing. Technology has changed society so much in 30 years that Gwang Ho finds himself completely out of his element with his old-fashioned ways of fighting crime. Detective Park Gwang-Ho must work with Detective Kim Seon-Jae (Yoon Hyun-Min) and Professor of Criminal Psychology Shin Jae-Yi (Lee Yoo-Young) to catch the killer and save his daughter.
